The Tivoli Theatre is a versatile venue that hosts many different types of events  including live gigs, theatre and certain events such as wrestling shows! Situated just down the road on francis street this theatre was replaced by another over on Burgh Quay which was closed in may of 1928, but it was relocated due to the central location of francis street. The building was originally built as the Tivoli cinema with 700 seats. The Tivoli then closed in September 1964 for a couple of years but was then converted into a nightclub, and a shop, finally reopening as a live theatre in 1987 and re-named Tivoli Theatre. The venue houses two flexible performance spaces: the Tivoli Theatre and the Tivoli Live.
